This coffee table book features over sixty images of Leslie Barlow’s paintings, exhibitions, and art-in-progress, accompanied by thoughtful essays by Minnesota-based creatives. An exploration into how race entangles the intimate sphere of love, family, and friendship, Barlow’s moving portraits are monuments to community members, depicting people in their own places of significance, surrounded by kin.
